Lisa Karen Cohen, The StoryLady has been teaching and performing for over 25 years. She has a BA in Theatre and Dance from University of Colorado and almost has finished her Masters Degree in Educational Administration from California State University Fullerton. She has recently been teaching and writing curriculum for a wonderful organization called Orange County Children's Therapeutic Arts Center www.occtac.org. She developed a program there called Arts & Literacy which inspires children to read and write stories by using art, dance and drama as a spring board to peak their interests in academic studies!
CreativePartiesForKids.com is the StoryLady's party business. This is a troupe of talented actors, facepainters, Santa Claus and Pirates that perform at kids parties and events. It is also The StoryLady's main way of supporting her beautiful and talented daughter Leah Machelle Cohen, a 15 year old musical theatre student at Orange County High School of the Arts. Lisa was her drama and dance teacher. Leah, her daughter also plays "ALFEE the ALPHABET fairy on her Mom's TV Show. The StoryLady LOVES being LEAH'S MOM!
The StoryLady is GREEN!. Lisa Cohen is also involved in Solar Energy. She and her boyfriend Robert work with a local Solar Company called SOLARRUS.
